My name is Robbie Shorr. I am a middle school math and science teacher at the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School in Rockville, Maryland. In fact, I attended this fine academic institution for 1st through 12th grade. Go Lions! This past May, I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, where I had a double major in chemistry and Jewish studies, as well as a minor in children’s studies. Though I am quickly realizing that nobody cares about that in the professional world. Go Bears! My main hobbies and interests are baseball, Jewish thought, food science, and working with kids. I began cooking during my junior year of college and have always loved the delicate balance between science and art required to make a dish successfully.
